Christmas '08

Christmas is all around us. The presents are unwrapped and spread throughout the house. We have had a very busy week. We had a whirlwind of trip to Alabama (30.5 hours to be specific). We got home on Christmas Morning at 1:30 am. The girls sleepily walked upstairs and fell right into bed while Chris and I unpacked the car and prepared for Santa to come visit. We finally fell into bed about 3:30 only to be awakened at 8:30 with Hannah crawling into our bed. We laid there until around 8:45 and I couldn't keep the beast away from what awaited them downstairs. They enjoyed everything.

Christmas day we went over to my sister Pam's house for Christmas dinner and just some family fun. The big boys and the kids played Wii and Pam & I played this cool Scrabble game that she got (which I found and bought today) in her stocking from Santa. After we left the Storey's we drove around and looked at Christmas lights. We finally got home around 10 last night. What a busy day but great time.

Now, we will prepare for the Fisher Christmas, which will take place on Saturday. I had some last minute shopping to do today so Kristin and I went shopping (while Chris and Hannah went to work). She had to take her toolbox and go with him today. Oh, the toolbox? That is what my father-in-law got her for Christmas. A red tool box (which we have decided that we will repaint Hello Kitty pink and have her name put on the top of it) fully loaded-- all the tools she could ever dream of!! My little own Handymandy!! She was up and ready to go this morning--LOL. You can't help but love her.

I will post pictures later on!! I am having caffeine withdrawals-- my head is hurting me. I hope you all had a great Christmas. Be safe through the New Year.
