I love summer time. Yesterday, was my first day back to work after being off this summer was not exactly what I wanted to be doing. I love having the summer off but it seems like we start back to work a little earlier each year. I really like being outdoors and soon enough the weather won't allow us to be out. Yes, it has been predicted to be very hot the next week but that is better than very cold in my opinion.
Now it has been a week since I have written on here so let's have an update. What have we been doing.
This week the girls and I got our house somewhat organized. I could have guest over- some things do change. We got the dining area organized, we cleaned up the upstairs hallway, cleaned baseboards, steps, washed clothes (and put them away), and cleaned up the usual -living room and kitchen. I still have to clean my room, organize my scrapbook items, and figure out where to put all of my books.
Yes, I went to work yesterday. I was not happy and I don't think others were excited either. Now don't get me wrong but I don't think I have ever had to go back this early. Yes, I stayed busy with organizing my room and next week I hope to get started on on things that I can ahead of time. Yes, that is me- I am not going to put things off anymore. It is a new season and I am going to stick to the plan.
I started reading Emma but needed to put it down until I get this first week of school over with.
Well, we are going to the pool for this hot Saturday.
Life isn't perfect but it is what we make it.
