What a Month!!!

It has been a very fast paced month and now we are heading into April. Bring on Spring!!!!

I have lots of pictures to post and I am going to try and post them differently so please be patient with me. We just finished our Spring Break and a wonderful Easter. We are tired but we enjoyed each minute we spent with all of our family and friends. Okay what is up with the family--

K- We have her so busy that I almost feel guilty. She is on a wonderful travel basketball team and the workout is what she needs -- she enjoys it very much!!! She is doing so much better with basketball and loving it. She is on two softball teams but one is for rec ball and that will be mainly into the late school year and early summer (so right now it is mainly practice once a week). School softball will be over by the end of April so we should straighten out soon!!! She is reading the 4th Harry Potter book right now. She really enjoys reading books but they have to be a series for her to read. She is getting ready for high school. We just went and registered her for classes next year. I cannot believe that I have a high schooler. She keeps reminding me that she will be driving soon. This can't be true!!! It was just yesterday that my maw-maw was letting me drive her car. She is ready to drive but she is not about to get her ear's pierced.

H- is into soccer right now and we did have signed up for softball but piano and soccer have overruled!!! I finally found a series of books she likes to read and I, as a literacy coach, could not be more thrilled. She got her report card today and her teacher says she is such a great leader in the class--now does that mean she is bossy or she actually a leader--lol!!!

C- He just successful passed his first code inspection on a garage that he built for someone in Brentwood. He is sitting on cloud nine and deserves it. He has never had an inspection before and to pass the first one is awesome. Brentwood codes is tough--they say. He is patiently waiting for Spring Football Practice!!! He loves football more now then when he played I think. FYI--he loves my dog!! He won't admit it but you should see him.

D- School, School, School--that means work and college!!! I am absolutely tired out. This has been a really tough year. I am enjoying my new job and going to school but I sure need a break and that will not come until July. I am reading --now get this-- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I would have never read this in high school or in college but I wish I had. I love this book. The plot and the language Austin uses to convey the story. What a wonderful use of words:)
Okay, I am only posting one picture--this takes to long to download!!!

I have a facebook for those of you who have one. I found out this past week, that those I didn't think would have one, do. I have a lot of pictures on my facebook if you have one let me know and I will send you a message so you can view my pictures. If you don't have a facebook you should.

Going for now!! Love all of you!!!

Hey! So glad you finally updated. (but now you have to comment on my blog:).
If Kristen likes series books, you should try her out with the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. In fact, Hannah might like them too (but you better proofread them first; they might scare Hannah).
Kristen would also like the Jeeves and Wooster books by P. G. Wodehouse (she'd probably like the TV series too; they're all uploaded on youtube). She also might like Rosemary Sutcliffe's books.(though they would be too old for Hannah, probably).
Hannah might like:

Redwall Series
Mary Poppins (though watch out; they're a bit Pantheistic.)
Anything by Edith Nesbit (try the Railway Children first)
I think she would Love the Shoes series- start with Ballet Shoes.
Daddy Long-legs. Just a fun, small, book.
Mrs. Piggle Wiggle- anyone who has not read that has missed about half of their childhood.

Sorry this is such a long, book-filled comments, but sometimes I get carried away (I like books, if you can tell:)

Grace

P.S.-I missed you all VERY VERY much.

Um, the cat thing was a joke; look at the date.

The birthday thing was fine; I think we missed Kristin's too.

I'll try to post some pictures of fencing; just started, and Dad's doing it too, and it's during Mum's class, but depending on when you come up for Sarah's graduation, you may be able to watch me.
